Granada Basket A sports identity made from what Granada already has
Granada Basket is a sports visual identity for basketball in Granada. The symbol, the pattern and the kit come from the city itself: the pomegranate that gives it its name, and the arches, tiles and lions of the Alhambra.

01Logo concept
Arch and pomegranate: the city as the starting point.
The sketch travels through Granada: the arch that frames the city, the windows and arcades of the Alhambra, its tiles and the pomegranate. Three ideas from the sketch (composition, balance and harmony) shape the symbol and the pattern. A logo design with local roots.

02Symbol and pattern
A crowned pomegranate.
The silhouette is the fruit's, with its crown on top. Inside, its curves recall the Nasrid arches and leave a drop-shaped space in the centre. The pattern repeats a single piece in rows that fit together: above, the pomegranate in red; below, the same module in maroon.

04Kit and court
The pattern, from the jersey to the court.
The pomegranate module dresses the team kit (jersey, ball and trainer) and reaches all the way to the court floor. A sports branding system you can recognise from the stands and on TV.
