How much does a website cost in Granada in 2026?
Real prices, what each one includes and how to tell whether you're being overcharged or undercharged. No small print.

A simple one-page website starts at around €490; a complete custom website, from €1,200; an online shop, depending on the catalogue. What changes the price isn't the number of pages but the work behind it: strategy, original design, SEO and what happens after launch.
It's the first question almost every business in Granada asks me, and also the one that usually gets the worst answer. Search on Google and you'll find websites “from €99” and agency quotes in the thousands. Both can be true, because they aren't selling the same thing.
In this article I explain, with clear numbers, how much a website costs, what you should get for that money and what to ask before paying anyone, including me.
The prices, straight up
These are the ranges I work with in my studio. Prices exclude VAT and come with a fixed delivery date:
| Type of website | Who it's for | From |
|---|---|---|
| One-page express website | Florists, hairdressers, workshops and professionals who need to show up online and get messages on WhatsApp. | 490–690 € |
| Custom business website | Studios, clinics, academies and brands that need to explain several services and win clients on Google. | 1.200 € |
| WooCommerce online shop | Businesses that sell products: catalogue, basket, payments and shipping. | Tailored |
| Maintenance | Backups, updates, security and small changes every month. | €45/month |
An online shop doesn't have a fixed “from” price because it depends too much on the catalogue: a shop with twenty products doesn't cost the same as one with custom sizes, finishes and several languages, like Studio Tablas, with a configurator that calculates the price of each table instantly.
What's behind the price
Two websites can look the same in a screenshot and be worth very different things. These are the pieces that really move the budget:
- Template or custom design. A template is quick and cheap, but your website will look like a hundred others. Custom design starts from your brand and from what your customers need to find.
- Structure before design. Deciding which pages you need, what your customers search for on Google and how they end up contacting you. It's the part you don't see and the part that sells the most.
- Copy. If you write it yourself, the price goes down; if it's written with Google in mind, it goes up, but so do the visits.
- SEO from day one. Titles, descriptions, speed and structured data. Doing it at the start costs little; fixing it later costs a lot more.
- Languages. Each language isn't just a translation: it's another version Google has to understand. That's how I approached Neotec, in French and English.
- Special features. Bookings, configurators, private areas or integrations with other tools.

Why some websites cost €99 and others €5,000
Very cheap websites are usually a template with your text on top, with no strategy or SEO, sometimes on platforms where the website isn't fully yours. They can do to get started, but they rarely bring in clients on their own.
At the other end, a big agency also charges for its overheads: sales staff, account managers, meetings. A small studio like mine has another advantage: the person who designs is the person who builds and does the SEO. You always talk to the same person and don't pay for middlemen.
The question isn't how much a website costs, but how many clients it has to bring you to have been worth it.
The costs nobody tells you about
On top of the design, a website has fixed costs. Always ask whether they're included:
- Domain (yourbusiness.com): renewed every year.
- Hosting: the server your website lives on, also yearly.
- SSL certificate: the padlock in the browser. If it expires, the website shows a “not secure” warning and scares visitors away.
- Maintenance: WordPress and its plugins are updated constantly; a website that isn't maintained ends up breaking or getting hacked.
With my express websites, the domain and certificate are included for the first year, and maintenance is optional with no lock-in.
5 questions to ask before accepting a quote
- Will the website be mine? The domain in your name and full access to the dashboard. If one day you change designer, you take it with you.
- Will I be able to change text and photos myself? With WordPress, yes. Ask to be shown how.
- What SEO does it include, exactly? “Optimised for Google” means nothing if they don't tell you what's being done.
- What's the timeline and what happens if it slips? A phased schedule avoids surprises.
- Can I see real websites you've built? Live and working, not mock-ups.

How I work
Before giving you a price, I review your current website or your presence on Google with a free audit. That way the quote comes from what your business needs, not a generic rate. Then I give you a fixed price and a phased schedule, and I charge 50% at the start and 50% on delivery.
You can see how I work on the web design page and on real, live websites: Studio Tablas, Neotec and pocoestudio.
FAQ
How much does a simple website cost in Granada?
A one-page website with your services, photos, map and WhatsApp button starts at around €490–690 excluding VAT in my studio, with the domain and certificate included for the first year.
How much does an online shop cost?
It depends on the number of products, whether they have variants, the payment and shipping methods and the languages. That's why I quote it individually after seeing the catalogue.

With my websites, yes: every page launches with its structure, titles, descriptions, speed and structured data already worked on. An ongoing SEO strategy is a separate service.
Do I have to pay anything every year?
Yes: the domain and hosting are renewed every year. Monthly maintenance is optional, though recommended to keep the website secure and up to date.
How long does it take to build a website?
An express website, around a week. A custom business website, about three or four weeks. An online shop, depending on the catalogue.
